This is the edition’s first mountain stage. The climbs of Santigosa and Tosses will serve to shape the escape the day before entering Andorran territory and climbing Comella. Here, we will begin to see which teams are strong enough to control the race, with a final climb towards Pal that shares the first few kilometres with the climb towards Arinsal, where Remco Evenepoel emerged victorious in 2023. We may begin to see the first differences between the King of the Mountain favourites.
