The ascent to the Pal Sector, at the Pal Arinsal Ski Resort, will return to La Vuelta after a 15-year absence. La Vuelta 23 visited this ski resort two years ago. However, on that occasion, the finish-line was located along the climb to the Arinsal Sector, where Remco Evenepoel emerged victorious. This time around, La Vuelta will return to a well-known summit in order to finish the stage near the installations that host the UCI Mountain Bike World Series each year and that provided the setting for the World Championships in 2024.
