Florian Lipowitz (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe): “The plan was not to have anyone from our team in the break, and to let it go to the finish, but in the end there were a lot of moves and it was hard to control. I went on the climb, following some moves, and I ended up in the break so we had to change some goals for the stage. I’m happy to finish with the white jersey. I think everyone was looking at each other, no-one was really knowing what to do. Ben [O’Connor] went and he took the stage. I’m still happy with how the legs were. I suffered quite a lot in the last days with the heat but now I’m really looking forward to the next days.”
