The Girona locality of Olot will make its debut hosting a La Vuelta stage departure. Known as the ‘city of volcanoes’, its surroundings form part of the Garrotxa Volcanic Area Natural Park. It contains four volcanoes within its municipality, creating its characteristic landscape, that attracts nature lovers, hikers and photographers alike. Its true wealth, however, goes beyond its natural setting, lying instead in the modernism of its most representative architecture.
