La Vuelta 25 will begin with a linear stage, something that has so far only happened twice this century: in 2007 and in 2020. The first stage includes a 3rd category climb to determine who will wear the first King of the Mountain jersey. With the riders’ strength still intact, a sprint to the finish-line is expected, resulting in a very exciting last few kilometres as they fight for the red jersey.
