Tiberi: “A really good result for me”

Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious): “I suffered a bit, but not as it was expected. I was really good. It was a hard climb, especially in the first part and the last one. The rest, it was quite good, also to stay a bit covered in the wheel. We did full gas from the beginning, and in the end I was 4th. I think it is a really good result for me at this climb. I was thinking: ‘now is the moment to try to follow, but the pace is really hard’. [Primoz Roglic] is super strong on this type of climb. With these gradients I’m not super good, but I try to do my best. Sincerely, I don’t know really well tomorrow’s climbs. For sure I will study them tonight and tomorrow morning. But it’s quite easy: it’s just to try to follow the best, Roglic and the other guys. I’ll try to do my best every day, and we’ll see how it goes.”
