Antonio Tiberi (Bahrain Victorious): "I’m back with the white jersey here in La Vuelta and I’m happy. Sincerely, I didn’t expect to have it on the 4th stage. The difference with the Giro are the steep climbs and the hot weather. It was a really really hot day but it’s a good start of La Vuelta and I hope to keep going. I know Lennert van Eetvelt is really strong. For sure he’s one of the strongest contenders for the white jersey and I will have to look at him."
