Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck): “I think it’s really nice to see a Spanish team winning in their home race. It’s a credit to the riders and the level that the team is performing at. I think the wind actually played quite a big part today splitting the bunch. We had a big group in the front where we then rode a pretty controlled pace. And then I was dropped in a second or third group. I wanted to have one last chance today, see how the shape is. I’m pretty happy with the ride and tomorrow I think is a nice gruppetto and it’s possibly just survival until Madrid.”
