Mathias Vacek (Lidl-Trek): “Of course I’m disappointed but I’m also super happy with my performance. It’s unexpected for me, I was counting on a top 5 maybe, but being 2nd, and close to the 1st place… I’m happy and I think there’s more to come. We start the Vuelta with a nice result with the team and we’ll try to keep it going. I worked hard, I did a really nice preparation with an altitude camp, so I think now we can see it pays off. I’m really confident. We’ll see what comes now.”
