"I think this is the second time I've been in echelons in a race. The first time, I was in the last pack, this time in the second, so I'm improving. It's hard for me as a lightweight. I did my best and I was able to rely on my team-mates. We rode and rode and we got back. Tomorrow we've got a well deserved rest day, which will do us good. The first part of La Vuelta is over, now it's time for the second."
