The poet and playwright, José Zorrilla, is one of Valladolid’s most illustrious historical figures. His family home has been turned into a literature and cultural centre that, not only acts as a museum, but also holds theatre productions, shows and other cultural activities. Today, the theatre located on the Main Plaza and the Real Valladolid CF stadium, among others, bear the name of the author of Don Juan Tenorio.
