Located along the border with Galicia, Vegado combines river landscapes with historical architecture, marked by the traces of The Way of St. James. The Paramios Cross marks the route to be followed by the pilgrims, for whom Vegadeo is an ideal place to rest. Among its many attractions are the Mazo de Meredo waterfall, a hydraulic feat located next to a recreational area, and the Senda de los Doce Puentes that runs through the Monjardín and Suarón rivers.
