Monforte de Lemos already knows what it means to host a La Vuelta finish-line. This corner of Lugo made its debut in La Vuelta 21, during a stage that also departed from the Western coast of Asturias, in Tapia, later venturing deeper into the Province of Lugo. In the heart of the Ribeira Sacra, the School of Our Lady of La Antigua stands over the locality of Monforte de Lemos to welcome the new La Vuelta peloton.
